Wales and West Forest School was set up by Michael & Alyson Welti as a result of their passion for outdoor learning and working with children and young people.
Combined, they have over 40 years of extensive experience of working with Early Years and Primary School aged children in a variety of settings both in the UK and abroad.

Wales & West Forest School provides high-quality, outdoor PPA cover and after-school clubs that support learning through nature, tailored to meet your school’s needs.
We also offer alternative learning programmes for secondary and special schools, helping children build confidence, teamwork, and social skills through immersive Forest School experiences.
Parties
Wales & West Forest School offer exciting outdoor parties for children aged 3–11, set in beautiful woodland locations in Bristol.
Our parties are perfect for all children, with plenty of adventure and creativity for everyone.
Our standard party package follows a Forest School theme and includes fun, hands-on activities like den building, bushcraft, and outdoor cooking.

holiday clubs
Wales & West Forest School Holiday Club offers fun-filled outdoor adventures for children aged 4–11 during the school holidays in October, February,
April, May, and August located at Birdwell School in Long Ashton.
Each day is packed with nature-based activities like den building, bushcraft, and campfires—guaranteering tired, muddy, and happy kids at the end of the day!
