Parties

Wales & West Forest School provide a party service for children aged 3-11 years old. Our parties appeal equally to both boys and girls. We currently operate out of woodland sites in Bristol and Cardiff.

Standard parties follow a Forest School theme and include activities such as den building, bush craft, outdoor cooking etc.

Or alternatively you can let your imagination run wild and choose a more elaborate woodland option. Ideas could include:

• A particular theme: Minibeasts, Forest Arts, Gardening, Survival Skills, Enchanted Forest, Cowboys & Indians, Muddy Puddles etc.
• A favourite book or traditional tale: The Stick Man, The Gruffalo, Owl Babies, The Hungry Caterpillar, Peter Rabbit, Robin Hood, Winnie the Pooh, We're Going On A Bear Hunt etc.
• Outdoor games and activities: Capture the Flag, Team Building, Treasure Hunts, Orienteering etc.

Rates:

• The cost for standard Forest School themed party is £11.50 per child. 
• More elaborately themed parties may incur an extra charge depending upon the preparation required. 

 Other information:

• Parties last for 2 hours.
• Parties are subject to a £115 deposit and minimum spend (which is the equivialent of 10 children).
• Parties can have a maximum of 20 children.
• At least 2 adults per 10 children should accompany the party in addition to the party leader.
• Birthday parties can be arranged on weekdays during school holidays and weekends throughout the year.
• All parents/carers of children attending the party will need to complete a consent form and have read the information sheet on what to wear.
• Waterproof clothing can be provided at a cost £1 per child.
• Parties can take place in most weather, with the exception of high winds and severe weather warnings.
• The site and activities are risk assessed and all staff hold current DBS checks.
• You may bring food and drink with you should wish your party to be catered.

We are very flexible and can offer ideas to suit most requests!
